Peter recently finished his hugely successful sold out tour at the Stockholm City Theatre where he played the leading role in the widely-acclaimed classic horror-story “Sweeney Todd” and starred as The Phantom in the London production of The Phantom of the Opera in 2012.
Peter is one of only four actors to play the prestigious title role in both in the West End and on Broadway, and has built an impressive and dedicated fan base.
As one of Scandinavia’s most celebrated artists, he has sold over a million albums. His latest album “I Love Musicals” features songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Cabarét, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess, Miss Saigon, Sweeney Todd and more. He was recently voted Artist of the Year after facing fierce competition from the likes of Icona Pop and Agnes at QX’s 2014 gala at Cirkus in Stockholm.
Peter will be backed by a superb trio at St James Theatre in his new show, “An Evening With Peter Jöback”. The show gives his audience a chance to experience an intimate performance of his personal favourite songs from musical shows, as well as modern pop classics from his latest album “East Side Storie”.
