Multi-award winning actor and Marvel super villain Tom Hiddleston is set to take the stage in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal from March 2019.

This production will be the final Pinter show of the Pinter at the Pinter season currently running.

The season celebrates one of modern theatre’s most influential playwrights, Harold Pinter, whose death marks ten years this year. For the first time ever, all twenty of his plays are being performed in one season featuring other famous actors such as Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer.

Tom Hiddleston will play Robert in one of Pinter’s greatest plays and one which “most closely resembles” Pinter’s own life. Hiddleston is a huge fan, and upon the announcement of the production he said: “Betrayal is a masterpiece. Jamie Lloyd’s Pinter at the Pinter season is terrific and I am so pleased that he’s asked me to be part of it.”

Betrayal will be running at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 5th March to 3rd June 2019, and tickets are on sale now.
